Project:

Development and use of thermal waters of the crystalline rock in the Ötztal Alps by means of a deviated well (depth 1.865m).

  • Technical planning of the drilling based on the geological model developed by Univ.-Prof. Dr. H. Mostler from the University of Innsbruck
  • Application for permits required by water and mining law
  • Tendering and contract award procedure for the drilling work
  • Project supervision and drilling support
  • Project coordination and management
  • Supervision of the underwater pump installation and well completion
  • Hydraulic analysis of the pumping and flow tests
  • Drafting of expert opinions for applications for operating permits required by water and mining law
  • Preparation of a study for the assessment of thermal water production costs

Result:

The discovery of thermal water provides the basis for the thermal bath Aqua Dome in Ötztal.
